Lauryn Hill has gone through a LOT lately. Doing jail time as well as lookin plain F***ED up! I was watching Sister Act 2 the other day and just thinking to myself HOW DOES SOMEONE SOOOOOOOO TALENTED GET IN THE PREDICAMENT SHE’S IN NOW???? So I started going back watching old Fugees videos and performances just admiring how WELL this young lady rocked the stage when i stumbled upon this video!

Maybe you’ve seen it before, maybe you haven’t. But I damn sure know I haven’t so I felt the need to share it with you guys!

Lauryn, 13, took the stage at the famous Apollo Theatre in NYC for amateur night. The night that has sparked the careers of MANY superstars. Well, lets just say Lauryn Hill was NOT one of them haha!

She sang an old Jackson 5 song called “Who’s Loving You”. She started ALL wrong! The band came in at the wrong part too so that didn’t help!

The crowd began to boo but there were some claps throughout the boo’s, mainly people that didn’t want to boo a CHILD off stage lol.

I guess the boo’ers chilled out and Lauryn started to settle down. She sounded better as it went on but overall it was still a horrible performance.

She’s definitely not one of those people who are just BORN with tremendous amounts of ability. She had to work hard for hers!

Whoever her vocal coach was needs a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD! lol

Rapper/Actor Nasir “Nas” Jones says he has a new “high end” sneaker store in the works. He recently tweeted photos form the Las Vegas construction site, the name is said to be Sneaker Fiends.

In the past Nas hasn’t been known as a great businessman, especially not up to par with his former arch enemy (Jay-Z). In fact, Jay-Z’s business skills are so far beyond Nas that he actually SIGNED Nas later in his career after the beef. Haha, how embarrassing is that to have to sign to the man you were making diss tracks about.

But i guess we’ll see how this works out, Nas has been steppin his business game up in recent years. He put a six figure investment into Mass Appeal magazine, among other ventures.

Nas has always been a prominent hip-hop figure, I hope he can turn that over into a great career in business like someone of his stature should have done a LOOOOOONG time ago.

Star struck fan turned assault victim, Khayti Shah, seems like she’s gearing up for a MAJOR lawsuit. It’s evident that they are building a case!

We all remember the famous incident with Miguel attempting to leap over a sea of fans only to CLOBBER a couple of them. Well Vip Bhola, attorney of the victim, is now saying that the doctors results are in and that Shah is experiencing “neurological symptoms consistent with brain damage”. YEA I BET SHE IS LOL, I WOULD BE TOO! I can imagine how that doctors appointment went lmao:

Khayti: Look Doc, I’ll give you 15% of my lawsuit if you say what I need you to say.

Doc: Make it 25% and it’s done.

Khayti: Cool, let’s get this money!

They are also saying that the Billboard Awards staff should’ve rushed Khayti to the hospital instead of giving her an ice pack. Well you know what that means! The Billboard Awards will be getting sued along with Miguel and POSSIBLY the MGM Grand too!

Flo-Rida’s Manager EJECTED From Heat Game 7

Wondering why the seat next to Techno/Dub-Step artist Flo-Rida is empty? Well, the seat WAS occupied by his manager until he got into a verbal occupation with the Indiana Pacers Jeff Pendergraph. This was immediately after Pendergraph had gotten into an on-court altercation with Heat guard Norris Cole which left both men ejected from the game.

Flo-Rida’s manager threatened Pendergraph saying that he would “see him after the game”. This statement prompted Miami Police officers to escort him from the building.

At first he decided he wasn’t going to leave, but apparently Flo-Rida felt another way about it saying this:

You’re my manager, but you’ve got to get out of here now!

He didn’t want his name to be associated with this drama (even though it already is) and I don’t blame him.

Well anyway Flo good luck with your future projects even though you decided not to be a hip hop artist anymore.

Jay-Z seems to be the hottest ticket on the market right now doesn’t he? Him and Samsung are reportedly inking a $20 MILLION dollar deal in the coming weeks which will be a collaborative deal for multiple projects. A smartphone is rumored to be one of those projects…

DAMN! Can you imagine how big a Jay-Z crafted smartphone would be? That ish would probably blow the iPhone right out the water, which Samsung has reportedly already done.

Apple stock took a 40% drop in late 2012 as Samsung smartphone sales overtook the former kings of the market.

Between this $20 Million and the $50 Million Beyonce just got from Pepsi, the Carter family seems to have secured their future.
