The year was 1998 and the Southern Region of the US is being introduced to the Big Tymers.  Who are the Big Tymers you ask?  Well only the duo of the Co-CEO of Cash Money Records Bryan “Birdman” Williams and one genius of a producer Mannie Fresh.  Their debut album “How You Luv That Vol. 1” featured some classic cuts such as “Tear It Up”, “Cutlass, Monte Carlo’s & Regals”, & “Millionaire Dream”, but none bigger than the video I have for you, “Stun’n”.  Enjoy.

In this matchup of contenders this was Peter’s coming out party as he drilled Williams in one of the meanest one punch knockouts of all time. The teenage actress famous for her past roles in Madea’s Family Reuinion, Akeelah And The Bee, and her Nickelodeon show True Jackson VP is apparently trying to shed her image of being a cute little girl. She recently posted some Rihanna-ish photos of herself taken at a recent photo shoot.

She looks ready to make her transition to being an adult actress, and by adult I don’t mean porn (I don’t think) lol. I just hope she doesn’t try to start actin like a “hood chick” or whatever because that definitely ain’t her!

The summer schedule is heating up as another solid week of boxing is ahead as we have Former 2 Division Champ and Puerto Rican Star Juan Manuel Lopez (33-2 30kos) taking on the young tough newly crowned Champion Mikey Garcia (31-0 26kos) on HBO. For the last few years Juan Ma was regarded as one of the top Featherweights in boxing…well that of course is before he ran into Orlando Salido who opened up two cans on him in two grueling action packed fights. Garcia is coming off defeating Salido for the title back in January. Garcia is regarded as the top guy at the moment at Featherweight and Lopez should serve as a tough foe. I expect fireworks in this one and somebody SHOULD get KTFO for sure. Also on the card Sweet Pea Jr. Terence Crawford (20-0 15kos) returns to the ring. You might remember watching Crawford looking like a poor mans version of the legendary Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker in his coming out party against the hard punching Bredis Prescott. Crawford takes on Alejandro Sanabria in a 10 rounder.

Also the day before on NBC Sports, Heavyweight contender  Bryant Jennings returns to the ring against Andrey Fedosov in a 10 rounder, and Sergey Kovalev  takes on Cornelius White in a IBF light heavyweight eliminator.

This weeks WBB video is another banger lol!!  No really it is..  I present to you guys the one the only, Phil Collins.

Before having a great solo career, Phil was the drummer and back up vocalist for Peter Gabriel in the band Genesis.  The seven time Grammy winner & Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has sold 150 million albums as a solo artist.  He is also one of only 3 people (along with Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson) who have sold over 100 million albums worldwide both as solo artists and (separately) as principal members of a band.

This song “Two Hearts” was featured on the soundtrack of the 1988 movie Buster which Collins actually starred in.  Two Hearts would also easily sky rocket to the top of the Billboard 100 chart.  Enjoy
