James Gandolfini, star of HBO’s “The Sopranos,” has died of a possible heart attack in Rome. He was only 51. Wow The Sopranos was one of my favorite shows…and the world is gonna miss Tony Soprano. The show was trendsetting and kind of made you root for the bad guy. Gandolfini played the role of a scumbag like nobody else. As more news comes in we will let y’all know. R.I.P Tony Soprano!

It doesn’t seem like it’s been 8 years since Chappelle Show ended, but for all those (like me) that have been waiting on Dave Chappelle to return to comedy are in for a treat. Chappelle is on tour and will be headlining Funny or Die’s “Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival,” which kicks off August 23 in Austin, Texas.
Chappelle remains most famous for his program on Comedy Central, “Chappelle’s Show,” a sketch-comedy hit that ran for two full seasons on the comedy channel. Chappelle was scheduled to do a third season, but left midway through its production, telling Oprah Winfrey not long after that he was burned out.
Chappelle has been laying low since turning down $50 Million Dollars to shoot the 3rd season of The Chappelle Show, but I’m happy he’s back. If you don’t know who this guy is peep the video above. Enjoy!

We here at http://www.blogboyz.com would like to say Happy Birthday to one of the best to ever bless the mic, Tupac Shakur. The most controversial of his time (maybe ever), Pac was gunned down way before his time in Las Vegas Sept. 13, 1996. He was another artist that did equally as well on the big screen as he did in the booth. He changed the rap game and will forever be remembered. If you were born YESTERDAY and just have no clue who the hell I’m talking about, watch these videos.
It’s hard to believe he would be 42 today. I can remember the night he died pretty well and it strangely doesn’t seem like it was almost 20 years ago. Happy Birthday Pac (1971- 1996)

We here at http://www.blogboyz.com would like to wish Ice Cube a Happy Birthday! It’s hard to believe all this guy has done he’s only 44 today. Cube is the first to successfully capitalize on the chance to be different roles in the entertainment industry. Going from rapping and acting to directing and producing his own movies, he gotta get the spotlight today. Oh yea check out one of my favorite Ice Cube videos posted up above, “It Was A Good Day”. There are mixed reviews about this movie, some liked it, and some didn’t. Personally I thought this movie was real good because I could see this happening here in America one day. This was more on the suspense side than horror even though there are parts that will make you watch for dark corners lol. The movie is based around a man who is the top salesman of this “state of the art” security system and his family. When the annual “Purge” takes place even his “state of the art” system can’t keep them safe. Everyone in the household is locked in but not everyone understands why the Purge happens. While the house is locked down a cry for help (along with many gun shots) is heard by one of the kids, and the system is disarmed to allow the person in the house. Not knowing this person was being hunted for the Purge, the hunters knock on the door of the residence and issue and ultimatum. From this point on the movie gets real and I’m not gonna tell it so go watch it!!!
The movie costed $3 Million to make and cashed out this weekend at #34.1 Million to take the #1 spot. There is sequel being shot to this as we speak and I can’t wait to see it.

Some of you have heard about the new Anchorman movie being filmed. It’s definitely true! Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20th of this year!
#YEEZUS himself has a cameo in the fim lol, along with Drake, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. 
When asked how Ye performed in the film director Adam McKay had this to say:
He was great, and he was funny. He came up with a couple good lines on his own. We did our usual style of do the written line, and then I would throw out alternate lines and we’d improvise. He was completely cool and game.
He even showed up for an extra quarter of a day where he had no speaking lines. He was just kind of in the group fight sequence (pictured below), and he was having so much fun that he came back to do that.
I’m looking forward to the release of this film.

Screen Gems has officially begun production of Think Like A Man Too, the sequel to Think Like A Man (which was based on Steve Harvey’s gay book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man).
La La Anthony, Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Teraji P. Henson, Terrence J, Jenifer Lewis, Romany Malco, Gary Owen, and Gabrielle Union
The story takes place right here in Las Vegas and photos were recently released of the cast kickin’ it! All the original cast members have returned and they have a few new additions.
In my opinion they need a LOT of new additions. None of them can even act except Taraji! All the rest of them play the SAAAAAME role in every damn film! (tell me I’m lyin)
The film is scheduled for a June 2014 release so we’ll see if they stay on schedule.
The ladies were required to have “bikini ready” bodies for the film…..

Early reviews are saying Will has done it again! The Will and Jaden Smith connection has worked before and word on the street is the duo can’t be stopped. We’ve seen the pair kill The Pursuit of Happyness, we’ve seen Jaden hold his own in The Karate Kid, and I’m interested to see his growth as an actor this time around. I’m usually not an M. Night Shyamalan fan at all (except for The Sixth Sense), but with Will and Jada producing this flick I have to see it. I will write an amendment to this post after I’ve actually seen the movie to see if the stories are true, so hang tight. Go out and support great talent!
